In this role you will work on innovative, actionable and efficient technology solutions to drive front end channels (web, mobile apps, kiosk and APIs). You will collaborate with Product Management to filter customer needs into use-cases and high-level requirements and identify suitable solutions. You will ensure that infrastructure for products is architected and delivered according to plan, under budget and deployed successfully. You will provide day-to-day technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to the web production team. You will provide direction and guidance on solution designs and architecture to ensure appropriate fit within enterprise standards. You will work with industry partners in integrating our systems with other applications or systems. You will propose the most optimum technical solutions in order to drive industry “best in class” KPI results. You will integrate new technologies into the Digital Ecosystem.

For this role, you will have a Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology or Engineering with 12+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and solutions. You will have a proven track record of having delivered quality enterprise-class applications with strong experience in frontend technologies (Angular, React, Mobile), APIs (REST, Springboot, API gateway), Cloud expertise (AWS, GCP). You will have experience with Application Servers, Network, Databases, Hardware, Security, BigData (Hadoop) and Web Servers. You will have experience architecting globally available infrastructure services based on third party “loud” providers and corporate data centers.

Annual base salary gross:  $119,833- $199,723. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
