Senior Software Engineer (Uplight, Inc., Boulder, CO)

Participate in the entire application development life-cycle including planning and scoping, implementation, testing, and ongoing application performance and maintenance. Collaborate and pair with other product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions. Document, review, and ensure that all quality and change control standards are met. Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories that are developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable. Use strong communication skills (oral and written) to field questions from other product teams or support teams. Monitor tools and participate in conversations to encourage collaboration across product teams. Perform software unit/integration testing, test-driven software development, pair programming, quality assurance, and debugging. Provide application support for software running in production. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience working on all phases of application development life-cycle (including planning and scoping, implementation, testing and ongoing application performance and maintenance) and designing technical solutions. Must also have the following: 5 years of professional experience using advanced Javascript (including es5 and jQuery); 5 years of professional experience using combined HTML and MySQL; 5 years of professional experience performing cross-browser testing; 3 years of professional experience using advanced Javascript Angular and SASS architecture; 3 years of professional experience performing collaborative workflow management; 3 years of professional experience using Git (including GitHub), Python (including Flask), Selenium and Scrum; 3 years of professional experience performing Agile software development and unit and integration testing.
