Requirements and Experience for the Senior Software Engineer

• Strong Native iOS or Android dev experience

• Expert understanding of web architectures and implementations

• Design performant PostgreSQL queries against 100M+ row tables

• Significant experience in Rails and modern client-side Javascript frameworks (ideally Angular and Backbone.js)

• A deep resonance with our mission and values as an organization

• A scrappy, problem-solver mindset and drive to execute “in the weeds” on a daily basis

• Insatiable drive to solve problems and create things

• A drive to own mission critical systems and direct their development

• Ability to mentor and foster growth of teammates

Super Fun Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience configuring databases and web servers (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)

• Math / Statistics / Machine Learning experience

• Experience with mobile dating and social apps
