We are actively seeking a Senior SDET to join the Engineering Team in our Boulder, CO office. If you aren't already in the Boulder area, don't fret - we'll move you here!

 Honey's Quality Assurance members are in charge of ensuring the highest quality release of our products. As a Senior Software Developer in Test, we are looking for those that thrive in a startup environment who can contribute, build, and take ownership of automated testing for your team's products. For backend components or projects you will also be expected to own and manage the testing. In addition, we expect you to help mentor QA Engineers on growing automation skills as well as contribute to improving the team process.

• You have comfort working on the command line
• You are comfortable creating test suites with minimal documentation
• You have a working knowledge of Agile Development Practices and Scrum methodologies
• You are able to provide accurate time estimates
• You managed your own time well
• You enjoy helping to improve quality assurance standards, techniques, and procedures
• You want to own the code repository and are dedicated to maintaining high code quality
• You set high standards and hold others to those standards

About the Role:

• You’ll be working within a mission team (a cross-functional team focused on a specific, well-defined mission) and own the testing for backend components related to your product
• You’ll be architecting, designing, writing, reviewing, and testing code in a collaborative environment
• You’ll be leveraging your peers as multipliers for your skills to create excellent products and services for Honey’s 15+ million users
• You will work closely with your mission team to test your team’s products
• You’ll work closely with other QA Engineers and SDETs as a mentor
• You will be implementing automation to increase test coverage
• You will be making frequent contributions to Appium automation tests to our testing framework
• You’ll be building tools to support automated testing of your product
