The job:

• Develop and enhance features that help customers make use of Cloudability data and recommendations within the core application and in partner applications and tools
• Collaborate and invent with other teams within Cloudability to find solutions to challenging customer problems
• Contribute to the product direction, specifically relating to optimization, integration and multi-cloud deployments
• Mentor those with less experience and learn from everyone

The essentials:

• Strong fundamentals writing software in mission-critical, customer-facing systems
• Experience in or willingness to learn Java and Go
• Commitment to software excellence in all things you produce
• Understanding that communication with your team and stakeholders is a key responsibility

Bonus points:

• Experience building features and web applications that rely upon internal and third-party APIs and common authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc)
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience with fundamentals of distributed systems (CAP theorem, fault tolerance, consensus protocols, etc.) and data modeling across storage engines (RDBMS, DynamoDB, etc.)
