Envysion, a provider of video-based SaaS technology solutions for retailers, fast casual restaurants and wireless dealers, is seeking a Manager, Sales Engineering. As the Manager, Sales Engineering, you'll combine leadership skills, technical knowledge and sales acumen to provide advice and support to packaging a solution to win. You will lead a small, established sales engineering team. Your customer interactions will be with our clients throughout the sales cycle. Technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with all areas of the client organization will be essential. Along with the SE’s and Account Executives, this position will be a key point of contact for clients and will provide both pre and post-sales guidance.  This is a true player/coach role.

Core Functions

  • Lead and motivate a team of SE’s as you and they understand customer needs and establish the company's products as the best solution to addresses those needs.
  • Establish the demo environment, including the establishment of use cases that best demonstrate the unique value proposition of our SaaS solution.
  • Build and present customized demos.
  • Present Envysion’s technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with company’s hardware, software, networking and security stack.
  • Participate and help drive the appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position.
  • Support the negotiation of contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Respond effectively to RFPs.
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
  • Position requires up to 40% travel.

  • General understanding of hardware and video security solutions is preferred.

 Experience & Education

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience as a sales engineer for a SaaS Business Intelligence company or similar technology
  • Experience in leading a team and motivating employees
  • Knowledge of retail and QSR industry related applications, data integration techniques and web technology
