We are looking for a Quality Engineer to come work with us at TalentReef. In this role, you will be responsible for quality assurance related activities and following the complete end-to-end testing lifecycle including testing the products existing and new features, automating test cases, reporting bugs, etc. You will be trained well on all aspects including Products training, Automation tools & infrastructure, CI/CD etc. ensuring their success in scrum teams.

How You’ll Do It  

• Write and execute manual tests for bugs and large features
• Be comfortable executing test automation, interpreting output, and debugging failures
• Reproduce and look into issues brought up by other departments
• Be a point of contact for QA when needed
• Write test plans that accurately reflect test cases and test efforts
• Perform weekly releases by packaging code, running smoke tests, and running automated regression tests
• Be a subject matter expert in more than one area of the application
• Work with the development team on any test failures and bugs found
• Collaborate with other QA team members and Software Engineers on best practices and best ways to write tests
• Write and execute tests focused on customer usage
• Be an advocate for our customers when testing and when issues arise
• Be an advocate for product quality
• Take initiative to get to the root of customer issues

What You’ll Bring 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with automated UI testing frameworks like Selenium or any of the multiple frameworks
• Strong understanding of QA processes & methodologies in a software development environment
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanbaan)
• Experience with backend/API testing frameworks like Postman
• Experience in Javascript
• Creative individual who can organize test suites to ensure maximum coverage. 
• Extensive experience working within an AWS Environment 

Bonus Points 

• Experience with build tools like Gradle
• Experience with Java
• Experience with pipeline tools like CircleCI

Salary

$72,000-100,000 DOE + Bonus
