As our Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, based in Broomfield CO., your responsibilities:

  • Working within our agile delivery teams to encourage and promote a ‘test first’ approach to software development (ensuring that testing is carried out as early as possible and is considered throughout the software delivery lifecycle).
  • Delivery of test approach, planning and execution across Webroot’s Wi-Fi Security and Integration products.
  • To make testing as efficient and as effective as possible through process improvement and test automation.
  • To stay abreast of industry-wide changes in technology, methodologies and tooling..

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

 We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A hunger to learn and a passion for software testing.
  • A positive outlook, a ‘can do’ attitude and a real desire to succeed.
  • A minimum of 2 years hands-on testing experience

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We’d also love to hear from candidates who have one or more of the following skills/experience/qualifications:

  • Bachelor or MSc in Computing, Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative agile environment.
  • Experience of working with remote teams and 3rd parties.
  • Mobile testing and tool experience (IOS and Android).
  • Previous experience of working with VPN technologies.
  • Exposure to mobile testing tools such as TestFlight for IOS and Android Test Tracks.
  • SQL and database skills.
  • Knowledge of testing RESTful APIs, utilizing tools such as Postman.
  • Exposure to test automation, using frameworks and tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow and Appium.
  • Experience of using cloud technologies such as AWS.
  • Awareness of Endpoint protection technology.
  • Performance testing awareness.
  • Awareness of preventative/‘shift-left’ testing.
  • ISTQB certification
