Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Platform Integration Engineer, you will own IT systems integration for the Product Integration team, as well as provide guidance on processes to empower the Retail Wireless Product team. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end systems integration for devices across the DISH portfolio of products. Platform Integration Engineers will play a critical role in the design and engineering for fulfillment and service enablement solutions across the DISH portfolio of products.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities for a Platform Integration Engineer

  • Define integration requirements for the existing portfolio and road mapped devices (i.e. functional, technical and business requirements).
  • Define, monitor and report product lifecycle metrics (e.g. supplier fulfillment, inventory management, service enablement, VAS support, 3 rd Party SLAs).
  • Facilitate process for project initiation with IT and 3 rd party partners across the Retail Wireless Product, Wholesale and Enterprise organizations.
  • Define product technical integration policies and platforms (e.g. EDI, VAN-services, XML/UEDF, APIs/services, batch feeds).
  • Provide subject matter expertise during issue troubleshooting in coordination with IT partners.
  • Provide technical expertise for IT enterprise buildout in support of supply chain management and service enablement (e.g. shipping/receiving, inventory allocation, virtual warehousing, device activations and provisioning).
  • Develop custom reports capturing procure-to-pay performance, product availability, active device portfolio, sales/returns, inventory positioning and HAC/RTT compliance.
  • Work with OEM and Product Managers to analyze, research and document requirements for new product capabilities (e.g. eSIM, iSIM, VoLTE, VoWifi, 5G).
  • Develop Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) as required in support of each enterprise project.
  • Define use-cases and acceptance criteria for each IT deliverable.
  • Work with the Product Manager to understand the OEM roadmap and its impact on IT systems.
  • Analyze Network and IT system changes to understand their potential impacts to existing (or planned) device functionality.
  • Engage with peers in developing the roadmap for new device onboarding, management technologies and capabilities.
  • Develop test plans, frameworks, and methodologies to deliver best-in-class product solutions.
  • Drive delivering organizations in support of the SDLC process to ensure project scope and milestone schedules are met.
  • Partner with all supporting organizations to develop enterprise architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, interface specifications and data dictionaries.


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business (or equivalent) with proficiency in the English language OR equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, system design and product development for smartphones and tablets including product configuration, feature and offering integration, third-party vendor management, new product introduction, and lifecycle management.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management with emphasis in system integration including industry leading practices (e.g. blind receiving, virtual warehousing, Available-to-Promise).
  • Experience in service establishment (e.g. front-end integration with product catalogs, available-to-promise, order management functions), service enablement (e.g. knowledge on device/SIM activation, network provisioning, Value-Added-Services (VAS) for MVNO and MNO architectures, and device / SIM management engineering (e.g. experience with product configurations and MDM platforms/policies across Android & iOS products).
  • Experience with standards bodies & forums (e.g. 3GPP, GSMA, NPAC, NANC).

Salary Range
Compensation: $87,500.00/Year - $125,000.00/Year
