As a Platform Engineer in our Denver, CO or Saint Paul, MN office you will have an opportunity to extend your skills in development, automation, and security across our diverse company portfolio. We presently use GitLab, GitHub, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Docker to automate the testing and delivery of both our Windows and Linux based hosted applications; with plans to consolidate on GitLab CI, Chef, Terraform, and Ansible. Our ideal candidate will have a worked in a development or tier 2 technical support role in the SaaS software industry.

What You'll Do:

●Support the software development process by implementing and extending automated delivery

●Participate in on-call rotation with other Engineers providing Tier 3 support to our Technical Support Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers

●Provisioning and maintenance of systems, load balancer configs, firewall rules, and other automation of infrastructure tasks

Who You Are:

●You have 2+ years of supporting or contributing to software in the cloud

●You have strong communication skills for working across support and engineering departments

●You are familiar with the basic concepts of Git, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery

●You have experience with cloud hosting infrastructure especially Amazon AWS

●You are passionate about security and identifying opportunities to improve security and testing

●You are enthusiastic about learning and willing to put in the effort to improve your skills and our DevSecOps process simultaneously

Preferred Experience:

●Experience developing for one or more relational database technologies: My SQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Etc...

●Experience working in or supporting multiple programming languages: Ruby, PHP, C#, Bash, PowerShell, Java

●Experience in virtualization environments, especially VMware vSphere

●Exposure to web hosting concepts: IIS, Apache, Nginx
