THE OPPORTUNITY

ISV/SI Partner Technical Consultant & Evangelist (a technical SC, lives/breathes API's with partners, teams up with partner managers, takes initial calls, works on technical demos/POC's way in advance of formal commit, technical touchpoint for ISV's that want to do their own work against our API's, initial point of technical contact prior to deeper integration (if ever), etc.; e.g. PROS as an ISV would fit this). Candidate should have development or professional services background with Xactly or similar solutions. Excellent communication skills required.

Xactly's Business Development/Alliances team is a tight-knit and growing team, looking to expand and add individuals with diverse backgrounds, the hunger to achieve, and drive a complex and intellectual sale amongst our partners. Our team's goal is to set customers up for success and transform the way C-level executives think about Sales Performance Management.

THE SKILL SET:

  • Recruit new and strategic ISVs to build on the Xactly connect platform.
  • Strong technical background and application development experience, including ideally one or more of the following languages: Java, .NET, PHP, Python, REST API, SOQL / Apex, XODBC / XCL
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand and prioritize the key use cases.
  • Evangelize and demonstrate value of Xactly platform and ecosystem
  • Review ISV product solution ideas as needed. Provide input.
  • Perform pre-sales and post-sales activities with ISVs
  • Develop prototypes with partners 
  • Review ISV application architecture
  • Drive ISV adoption of new Xactly technology
  • Create, maintain and socialize the short- and long-term ISV technical roadmap with engineering/product
  • ISV Education, Training and Certification curriculum development
  • Develop certification path for new and existing apps
  • Work with internal R&D teams
  • Knowledge of Xactly applications required
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience preferred
