Position Description
At Conga, we build next-gen AI solutions to transform our customer's Revenue Operations.
Business contracts are complex legal documents that contain rich, diverse and valuable information in the form of clauses, fields, obligation and other constructs. The terms of these contracts drive day to day business decisions and processes. At Conga we build cutting edge AI solutions to help automatically OCR contract documents, extract semantical information from these documents and surface actionable insights for our end users. Our solution can help search for contracts based on their semantics, answer specific questions, automatically discover information to create the system of record as well as rate its risk, provide mitigation options etc..
As a Machine Learning Software Engineer at Conga, you will be working in a fast-paced environment which needs a mindset of a startup professional who is not hesitant to constantly shift gears, test and learn. You will be working with a team of accomplished machine learning engineers and scientists utilizing the latest NLP and Deep learning techniques to solve text mining problems.
What you will do:

• Build and implement advanced machine learning models for document mining, question answering, summarization using Spacy, BERT, GLOVE, GPT3 and related technologies
• Research, develop and evaluate advanced text processing algorithms and implementations.
• Be a data & metrics driven individual who helps evaluate the performance of various algorithms based on concrete metrics
• Be a creative individual who can rapidly prototype and develop algorithms and advanced machine learning techniques as new requirements emerge
• Stay up to date with technology, prototype with and learn new technologies, proactive in technology communities
• Constantly learn from peers in the industry in data science and engineering community
• Have the software engineering skills to code what you prototyped and stand up a SaaS service
• Communicate well in oral and written form and are able to produce documentation of complex AI techniques used in the system
• Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation and engineering

Qualifications

• Master's in STEM or AI/ML areas and 3+ years of professional experience as a machine learning engineer or related roles with hands on experience in projects involving one or more of DNN, CNN, LSTM-RNN, BERT, GPT3 etc.; PhD in STEM or AI/ML lieu of work experience
• Experience in setting up supervised & unsupervised learning Client/NLP models including data cleaning, data analytics, feature creation, model selection & ensemble methods, performance metrics & visualization
• Experience in text classification question answering, topic mining techniques.
• Strong experience in prediction using Machine Learning and Deep Learning
• 3+ years of work experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, and R, node js
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile team environment
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) or a containerized environment (Mesos, Kubernetes)

The following information is provided in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The general salary target for this position in Colorado is $ "140,000.00" per year. However, the base salary offered may increase (or decrease) depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a full range of perks and benefits, including financial, medical, and dental insurance. We also fund an annual bonus program, with payout based upon annual corporate performance and individual performance
