Are you an experienced application developer with a broad set of skills and a passion for tackling complex and challenging problems? Envysion is looking for talented technical innovators to join our engineering team.

You will work on a small team developing internal applications and tools to support our employees.  The primary mission of the team is to improve the efficiency and productivity of other teams by providing the applications, tools, and frameworks to make their lives easier.

Core Functions

• Actively participate in a fluid and collaborative environment with the ability to improve your co-workers’ lives
• Regularly employ your development skills to improve internal workflows
• Support cross-functional feature teams with technical and domain experience
• Provide technical and professional leadership to the IT team

• This is mostly an on-site role, although occasional work-from-home is okay

The skills and experience we need:

• 6+ years experience developing web and database applications
• Strong ability to maintain and enhance an internal web application:
  • PHP 7 (procedural and OO)
  • HTML/CSS
  • JavaScript (dynamic HTML)
  • MySQL
• Very strong relational database skills
• Solid Linux experience
• Ideally, database management skills, including creating/altering tables, triggers, and procedures, as well as data transfer (ETL)
• Agility and comfort with changing requirements and frequent customer feedback
• Experience with other programming languages and tools is a plus
• Experience leading a small team
  • Mentoring other developers
  • Prioritizing and managing a work backlog

  • Setting and enforcing standards
