Title: Integration Engineer                 

Reports to: EVP, Operations 

Manages: No Direct Reports

Location: Lakewood, CO      

Travel: 0%-20%

The MedKeeper Integration team is responsible for providing internal and external support of HL7 interfaces to MedKeeper and its customers.  Integration Engineers work with the implementation team to accomplish the common goal of an on-time and successful system implementation. Activities include product interface and product implementation tasks. The Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, validation and timely delivery of interfaces within the project scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Support of PharmacyKeeper HL7 interfaces and infrastructure.
  • Interface design and validation.
  • Troubleshooting project related issues.
  • Support existing PharmacyKeeper customer interfaces.
  • Support and maintenance of PharmacyKeeper infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of VPN’s.
  • Implement and maintain the PharmacyKeeper system in customer hosted environments.
  • Participate in project meetings and/or conference calls to facilitate interface design and validation.
  • Must be capable of interacting with customers to deliver accurate and consistent communication.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare IT background or Pharmacy background is preferred
  • Experience working with EMR systems such as Cerner, Meditech, Epic, Allscripts and GE Centricity preferred.
  • HL7 experience required
  • Experience with middleware integration engine (Interfaceware, Iguana, Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf) preferred
  • Experience with scripting (LUA, Javascript, Java, TCL, etc) preferred
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Possess problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to consult on system functionality and system integration.
  • Requires flexible working hours including some nights and weekends.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience
