Who are we looking for

We are building our engineering team and we’d like to bring on an experienced Full Stack Engineer. Our products and services are mainly built for the web with the exception of a customer facing app. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will build the front-end features to create a seamless experience for our merchants and the underlying backend components that power them. If you are a person who can drive features forward, reconcile feedback from across the organization and are self-motivated to learn new technologies, we want to talk with you.

Here is a bit more information about the role itself:

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with other team members through code reviews and occasional pair programming
  • Working with team leaders to inform product road mapping, identifying bottlenecks, bugs, and devising solutions to these problems
  • Understanding the vision and overall strategy
  • Helping maintain code quality, organization and automatization
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests
  • Build extensive, reliable support for product data logging and metrics
  • Some work may involve the following:
    • Menu/Inventory: Manages the items and inventory that our merchants sell to their customers. We support different types of merchants from small businesses with just a few menu items to medium sized stores with many menu items and locations.

    • Menu/Inventory: The team is involved in the technical details of building highly available and reliable services, while also working with product teams to enable us to rapidly build new capabilities for our merchants and buyers all over the world.

    • Pricing: Responsible for tools that help our customers to set prices, manage taxes, and provide discounts to their customers.

    • Pricing: Build our own SaaS platform, managing subscriptions, access, and revenue for our SaaS products

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years of production engineering experience
  • Ability to respond to situations in a timely manner, and meet personal commitments
