What You Will Do

As a front-end engineer you will be responsible for the implementation of the user interface for the Stateless Luxon platform. At Stateless, we empower our customers to compose complex networks with intuitive REST APIs and well thought out UI. We have positioned our front-end to allow users to construct intricate network topologies in an accessible and easy to use experience. High quality user interfaces are a major deficiency in current networking systems so your work will be a key differentiator for our product and essential to the success of the platform.

You will spend time building requirements with the product team, collaborating with designers, and developing API specifications with the backend team. While you do not need to be an expert in backend technology, an understanding of servers, distributed systems and networking will be valuable in your work here. We are looking for engineers to push themselves and their teammates. We have no room for egos and are adamant about keeping our supportive and striving culture healthy.

Listed below is an overview of our tech stack. One of our core values is being Stateless, we adapt, change, tear the world down and rebuild it with new ideas. Our stack may grow and change, but we are committed to constantly improving the product while keeping the tech simple and maintainable. Suitable alternatives to our stack are noted in parentheses.

• Programming Language: TypeScript (JavaScript)
• Framework: Vue and web components (or similar Front end frameworks such as Stencil, React, etc)
• Styling Language: SASS (other CSS+ languages like LESS or vanilla CSS)
• Reading OpenAPI (previously Swagger) specifications (RAML)
• Creating or implementing OpenAPI specs is a huge plus
• Must be comfortable balancing fit and finish as well as the UX interactions
• Must be comfortable with light design work
• A willingness to work and deliver in an Agile process
• Familiarity with CI/CD and containerized environments is highly desirable
