About this Position

The mission of the frontend developer will help us create amazing technology that help individuals explore and connect with others. As a frontend developer this individual will help create new web pages, admin portals, optimize for conversions, and enhance the overall features of our website and app. This will include building and brainstorming new features that help drive different parts of our business.

Position Requirements

• Deep understanding of Javascript & React/React Native

• Understanding of PHP (or ability to learn)

• A proven history/portfolio with design work

• Ability to work and create new ideas independently

• Ability to implement features quickly

• Ability to effectively communicate

• Understanding of conversion rate optimization

• Interest in a startup atmosphere, where team communication is crucial and ideas are encouraged.

Our scavenger hunt helps people connect with their environment through fun challenges and interactive games. We’ve helped friends explore the city, couples propose, and companies have a better work culture. Our company was founded a year and a half ago, but we are new to Denver. We plan on growing fast and you will have the opportunity to grow with us.

Position Description:

1. App Development (50% of time)

   1. Create and strategize new features for iOS and Android

   2. Improve customer experience in Big City Hunt app and Let’s Roam app

   3. Fix bugs in the existing application

   4. Create new in-app activities and games

   5. Build out features to improve virality via social and other methods

   6. Strategize the technology behind building out new product lines

   7. Playtest games/apps

   8. Implement recommended changes based on customer feedback

   9. Launch new products and features

2. Web Development (40% of time)

   1. Create and develop our website using latest technologies (currently built in Codeigniter)

   2. Ensure that the website is SEO optimized and has a virality factor built in

   3. Optimize website for conversions using tools that dive into user flow

   4. Maintain and improve Big City Hunt/Let’s Roam website

   5. Create admin reporting and CMS dashboards

   6. Create landing pages for targeted ad campaigns

1. Special Projects (10% of time)

   1. Create and implement new ideas

   2. Help with the launch of new marketing initiatives
