About DISH
DISH is a Fortune 200 company with more than $15 billion in annual revenue that continues to redefine the communications industry. Our legacy is innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo, including reinventing ourselves. We disrupted the pay-TV industry in the mid-90s with the DISH satellite TV service launch, taking on some of the largest U.S. corporations in the process, and grew to be the fourth-largest pay-TV provider. We are doing it again with the first live, internet-delivered TV service - Sling TV - that bucks traditional pay-TV norms and gives consumers a truly new way to access and watch television.
In 2015, SLING redefined America's relationship with live TV. Six years later, we remain one of the country's most influential inventions and driving forces behind the cord-cutting phenomenon. We've achieved our success by filling our offices with people invested in the medium they're building.
Our teams are challenging the status quo and reimagining streaming capabilities. From product development to software design to big data and beyond, our people play vital roles in connecting consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow.
We are driven by curiosity, pride, adventure, and a desire to win - it's in our DNA. We're looking for people with boundless energy, intelligence, and an overwhelming need to achieve to join our team as we embark on the next chapter of our story.
Opportunity is here. We are DISH.

An Insider's view of DISH

What are some social events your company does?

At our DISH Grand Central location, we strive to uphold a strong culture! We have a Bureau of Serious fun that consists of a group of people who plan and host potlucks, trivia challenges, and a variety of monthly events. We even started a walking club that takes place on Friday afternoon during the lunch hour!

Ali

Experience Manager, DISH Grand Central

What projects are you most excited about?

One exciting new project we are working on is the blockchain initiative that we are building. We are moving way beyond just cryptocurrency. The blockchain capabilities we are building will create entirely new business models and services that enable fast, on-the-fly, secure, and verifiable access to our spectrum.

William

Senior IT Manager

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

Throughout my 7 years with DISH, I have taken advantage of DISH’s #1 benefit: Opportunity. Starting my career in Indirect Sales and then transitioning into HR Recruiting has led me to my passion for Recruitment Operations where I continue to grow my expertise and make a difference in people’s lives.

Whitney

Recruiting Operations Manager

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

We promote an empowered team product structure, meaning we don't give our team a product to build. We give them a problem to solve. How they choose to solve that problem is derived from discovery, talking to customers, and understanding how to build a solution that will work for the customer. It's not about pushing out feature after feature.

Seth

SVP, Sling Product and Operations

What is your vision for the company?

At DISH, we are building something that has never been built before, to be part of history and change the way humans and things connect. I wanted to lead teams that push themselves and each other to be better every day. DISH is going to change communications, not just for subscribers but for businesses across the nation.

Mac

VP, Head of Network Engineering
