As a Director, Salesforce Technical Solutions, you will lead a team providing Salesforce technical solutions for one or more projects and you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.

As Director, you are expected to be knowledgeable and experienced in Salesforce implementations.  You will have a solid understanding of integration architecture, a programming background, an expert in infrastructure architecture, client sales support, team management and thought leadership skills.

You have deep technical experience in Salesforce components, customization, integration and administration. You understand the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce ecosystem, including third-party add-ons, and can effectively earn the respect of the business team and be able to respectfully push back when appropriate.

In addition to technical expertise in Salesforce, it is critical to success to be an inspirational people leader to inspire our engineers (leader of leaders), build great partnerships to align our vision, and be results-oriented.


What You Will Do:

  • Oversee all service strategy for Salesforce technical delivery- inclusive of staffing, resource management, people, tools, and process
  • Client facing responsibilities to ensure that client needs are well understood, expectations are correctly positioned, and deliverables are completed on time
  • Partner closely with leadership across all departments on organizational design, resource planning, and back office tools and technology
  • Establish work request system to capture and complete work requests; maximize billable utilization of team resources
  • Attend product design sessions and ensure products are engineered to maximize ease of delivery
  • Subject matter expert for Salesforce integration service strategy, delivery, and support
  • Create and enforce standard process for technical design, scoping, testing, delivery, QA, and support


What You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years experience leading engineering, technical support, or technology delivery teams
  • 5+ year experience in an engineering role within an Agile environment
  • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight.
  • At least 5 project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) on various Salesforce Cloud including preferably Health Cloud, and Service Cloud. Experience in Sales Cloud, MarketingCloud and Einstein Analytics are a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a professional services company, consulting firm, or agency
  • Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
  • Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce functionality like Lightning Flow, APEX classes, Custom Objects, Visual force pages, Platform events, Sharing rules, Security settings, Profiles, Triggers, Workflows 
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud features are optional for components like Email Studio, Journey Builder, Marketing Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Mobile Studio is 
  • Technologist: Strong engineering and technology background with the ability to learn quickly and go deep into our product and engineering solutions.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent listener; proven ability to influence at all levels and across various stakeholders and partners.
  • Partner Attitude: Have the competencies to build very strong partnerships with other technology, product, and other leaders that enable your team's ability to stay on the leading edge of industry solutions.
