Job Duties and Responsibilities
Device Certification Test Manager will work with internal teams and 3 rd party test companies to ensure adequate test coverage for certification test cases on Dish 5G network. In this role, you will:

  • Define testing facility access criteria including compliance with OEM requirements (i.e. period review of access, escalation procedures, mitigation protocols);
  • Define and establish new testing processes that empower the Product Development teams;
  • Work with 3 rd party test houses to develop and run device certification testing on new products in the DISH Wireless 5G portfolio
  • Coordinate with internal teams on the quarterly release of test plans and manage publication to applicable OEMs
  • Ensure all the DISH 5G test cases are properly loaded in Jira database and the device requirements are mapped accordingly to facilitate accurate test plan creation for each product
  • Work with Device Requirements Manager to develop test case roadmap in order to align with the technology roadmap to ensure proper device test coverage
  • Develop test tools, frameworks and methodologies to deliver high quality product solutions.


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Ideal Device Certification Engineer candidates have:

  • Bachelor's in computer science, electrical engineering or related field of study;
  • 3+ years' experience in managing testing for wireless devices
  • 3+ Years' experience in writing technical documentation
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira a must
  • 5+ years' experience working with wireless test equipment vendors (ex. KeySight, Spirent, Rohde & Schwarz)


Desired skills / experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • 2+ years' experience managing vendor/partner relationship;
  • 5+ years' experience working in wireless industry
  • 3+ years' experience in wireless device certification tools and testing


Salary Range
Compensation: $87,500.00/Year - $125,000.00/Year
