Headquartered in Denver, minutes from the beautiful Rocky Mountains!  We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Solutions Architect to join our team!  

What you will be doing:

At Cloud Elements our customers experience and making them successful is one of our most important tasks. Given that our customers pay us over time, customer satisfaction, retention and growth are keys to our longevity.  In this role you will be a major contributor to ensuring our customers are quick to find value in our products.

As a member of the Customer Success Team, you play an important role and will develop strong relationships with our customers, gaining a deep understanding of their objectives, create solutions and be a critical partner in delivering those solutions through the Cloud Elements platform. 

More about this role: 

  • The CS Architect is the primary resource responsible for helping our customers design and implement scalable solutions leverage best practices using the Cloud Elements platform

  • Interacts with CTOs, Product Managers, Architects, and Sr. Developers at prospects and existing customers that range from SMBs to large Enterprises

  • Reviews and produces a design document for customers

  • Works with Sales, Account Managers and Project Managers to scope custom work for prospects and existing customers

  • Engages in discovery and requirements sessions with Professional Services customers in order to develop the architectural design for custom work

  • Acts as the Development Lead for Professional Services projects - tasks include: Epic and User Story creation, technical guidance for engineers, code reviews, and deployment planning

  • Researches the APIs and product functionality associated with many cloud services from Finance to ERPs to CRM to eCommerce - and more

  • Evangelizes our products in person and online by presenting at conferences, blogging, writing technical tutorials, and other similar activities

  • Provides feedback to the product team based on learnings from Professional Services work and/or customer feedback

  • Interacts with development and product teams as needed to design solutions and solve problems

  • Has an expert technical understanding of our products and services 

  • You will be measured using a combination of Customer Satisfaction and technical leadership on the team

What we would like you to have: 

  • 5+ years experience as an Engineer, preferably with SaaS or related Cloud products

  • Preferred, BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

  • MUST be knowledgeable with JavaScript

  • Knowledge of RESTful design, APIs, and web technologies

  • Understanding of API authentication types: e.g. Oauth, Basic, Tokens

  • Be able to work with multiple technologies simultaneously such as Java, JavaScript, .net, Soap, REST, RPC, RDBMS, NoSQL and work with firewall and network security issues and authentication / authorization

  • Experience architecting and developing custom software solutions strongly preferred

  • Excellent communicator – written and spoken. Comfortable and willingness to work in a team environment 

  • Personable, outgoing and community-oriented – enjoy interacting with others (especially geeks!) in professional and social settings

  • Willingness to travel
