Job Summary

NetApp has a challenging and exciting opportunity for an individual contributor within NetApp’s Services organization. This role of a Cloud Solutions Innovation Engineer is an integral part of the incubation and business transformation to land and expand cloud-based solutions in new markets with new and innovative offerings by co-creating services around customer needs. We are seeking an engineer with an entrepreneurial sprit focused on building and testing solutions and automation for public, private and hybrid cloud architectures.

Job Requirements

• Background in IT Market demand in areas such as: Open stack, Virtualization, DevOps, Agile, Big Data
• Automation background and experience with at least one scripting language (i.e. Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, etc.) highly desired
• Experience with datacenter architectures, AI/ML, applications
• Experience with public cloud architectures, products and networking; related certifications a plus
• Creative, team-oriented, technology savvy and driven to produce results
• Motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirt and equal balance of strong analytical skills and customer-facing communication skills 
• Strong technical writing, as well as presentation skills to engage any audience 
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills 
• Data sciences background or coursework a plus
• Business analytics background or coursework a plus

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent combination of related education/training/certifications and applicable professional work experience.
