Position Summary

Visual 4Site is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to be part of our growing team – someone who embodies our overall core values: achievement, innovation, integrity, growth, teamwork & respect. This person will lead the data analysis, design & build effort for a book of Business Intelligence (BI) consulting projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works with customers, end-users, technical analysts, & application designers to define data requirements
• Build connections from client data sources to BI platforms
• Aggregate data from multiple sources in an efficient data warehouse
• Extract, transform, and load large data sets for use in enterprise-level BI solutions
• Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms
• Develop, design, and optimize SQL queries for relational and multidimensional databases upon request
• Create, deploy, and present information through reports and visualizations

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or other data focused, technical field
• Proven experience supporting business intelligence systems as a BI or ETL Developer (2-4 years)
• Use data to analyze results and make data-driven decisions
• Strong knowledge of data literacy required
• Experience with data warehouse design (conceptual, logical and physical models)
• Familiarity with BI technologies (E.g. Domo, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Lookr, etc.)
• Experience conducting requirement analysis and current state analysis
• Effectively manage customer expectations and project deliverables
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
• SQL, R, CSS, PYTHON, HTML and any history of learning programming/coding languages
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
