Azure Cloud Security Engineer:
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, agile development environment. This position reports to the VP of Security as part of the infrastructure and network team. The role will include designing, planning, management, maintenance and support of NextHealth’s cloud environment and information security program.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and operational support of NextHealth Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Design, provision, configure, monitor and maintain the compute, storage and network resources in Azure
- Patch & configuration management and security updates, network ACL’s, and security remediations
- Partner with Security Team in implementing compute, storage, network, and endpoint related security controls
- Support internal tools such as Jira, Git, Confluence, Teams, GoAnywhere
- Support existing desktop/laptops and provisioning/terminating user accounts etc.
- Maintain production by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, cost and overall system health
Required Experince:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years’ experience as Infrastructure and Network engineer, with at least 2+ of those years in Cloud computing
- Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux system administration (networking, security, databases, Apache/IIS web servers)
- Strong expertise in Network Security & Compliance in HealthCare or Card industry with exposure to next-generation endpoint protection, data loss prevention, business continuity, disaster recovery and data protection.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud computing platforms
- Development of Network designs and configurations for small remote offices
- Maintain and troubleshoot wireless and LAN networks
- Strong scripting skills a must – Power Shell, shell, and python.
- Mastery of Core Network Services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, AD, AADDS)
- Project Management skills to provide implementation schedules while adhering to company's architectural standards and principles
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Security Center, Key Vault, Application Gateway, Network Security Groups, or Azure Information Protection
- HIPAA, NIST, CIS, HITRUST, and PCI standards
- Meraki, DUO, MFA, 2FA, Radius, VPN’s and other access authentication methods/technologies
- Knowledge of Cloud security fundamentals or Cyber threats as they relate to Cloud
- Exposure to DevOps principals and automation tools
