Bluestaq is an emerging software company located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bluestaq is seeking intelligent, enthusiastic interns to join our talented team! Our organization specializes in cloud-based enterprises, data management, information security, modeling and simulation, and artificial intelligence. Our unique software development internships offer exceptional opportunities for you to grow your technical and non-technical skills. From day one, you will be working with experienced engineers and designers who love what they do. Bluestaq is not locked into a technology stack. As an intern, you’ll be exposed to various technologies, including Java, Angular, Python, Groovy, REST Services, Elasticsearch, Jenkins, GIT, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Athena, and Hadoop. 

Candidates who apply must be self-starting, ambitious individuals who are not afraid to challenge assumptions. Candidates must be willing to learn new skills and adapt to new technology to solve real world problems. Attention to detail, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills, are a must. 

Desired Qualifications of a Bluestaq Software Development Intern 

• Software Development experience 
• Experience with Java 
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Typescript, and Bash 
• A general understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies 
• An understanding of data storage solutions (RDS, Document stores, graph store, Hadoop) 
• Familiarity with cloud-based concepts 

Education: Ideal internship candidates should be actively working towards a degree in the following areas: Computer Science, Mathematics, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field/industry.
