In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a proven Wordpress Web Developer to join our Development team. The Wordpress Web Developer will be primarily responsible for full stack web development, with an emphasis towards front-end development.  Focus is on designing, building, and maintaining websites.  A daily physical presence in our Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, CO office is required.

Core Responsibilities

The Wordpress Web Developer is responsible for working within a team to build websites that align with customer specifications.  This entails custom bootstrap web development with an emphasis towards design and front-end.  Focus is on designing, building, and maintaining custom web apps and websites.  This includes, but isn’t limited to:

• Partnering with clients to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding website architecture
• Formulating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
• Working with business stakeholders and executive management to solve interesting technical problems
• Collaborating with individuals at all levels of our organization internally as well as our client organizations
• Thoroughly documenting project build and maintenance, and performing regular testing and QA with the team

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 2+ years’ experience of building Wordpress custom themes
• Experience in Wordpress administration
• Experience in website design
• Experience in WooCommerce or similar eCommerce integrations
• Understanding of infrastructure and scalability
• Experience understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
