Overview

As our Visual Communications Manager, you will be dedicated to owning the management of a customer’s Visual Communications Network on an ongoing basis. This individual will enable our customers to fully realize the value of our Visual Communications platform by consulting and delivering on best practices to keep the solution updated, relevant and engaging. The VCM is not a management position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple customers’ Visual Communications solutions per FWI predefined processes.
  • Gather any requirements from clients for the functionality and look and feel of the signage network and work against a mutually defined backlog of priorities to implement these changes.
  • Ensure VCM is tracking to timelines, scope & quality for all deliverables pertaining to the signage build and delivery.
  • Utilize FWI software products to develop signage solutions based on client specifications.
  • Configuration of FWI standard applications.
  • Set up external data integrations.
  • Develop end-user documentation.
  • Deliver onsite and remote training sessions.
  • Maintain timely project documentation per FWI processes.
  • Anticipate up 10% travel.

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent military experience
  • 3 -5 years relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Desire to provide project management-type activities in coordination with project execution.
  • Experience working with software applications.
  • Experience delivering customer training.
  • Strong time and task management skills with the ability and drive to work both independently and as part of a team.

Helpful for Success:

  • Strong knowledge of XML and XSL stylesheets.
  • Working knowledge of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, basic routing, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL.
  • Experience with programming and/or scripting languages, particularly those that relate to UI design (e.g., JavaScript) and system administration. (e.g., Windows Batch Scripting, UNIX Shell Scripting, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience with graphic editing software applications. (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience writing SQL queries.

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
