Floify, a leader in the mortgage Fintech space, is looking for a UX/UI Designer who is interested in designing the behavior, look, and overall functionality of the Floify web & mobile apps, improving the usability and design of existing features, and prepping features for the development team and roadmap. A UX/UI Designer at Floify is both a strategic and execution-based role that works with a high level of ownership, requiring design decisions to be made in consideration with project deadlines and business objectives. You will be responsible for gaining deep insight into our users needs through user and industry research, and identifying product opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
This role requires a strong ability to understand the software creation process and the ability to derive pixel perfect solutions from complex data under strict timelines. What You'll Do:
- Participate in problem-focused user research to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with the Product Team to define, scope, and deliver clear project requirements (through workflows, detailed UI mockups, interactive prototypes, etc.)
- Ensure that all features empower users to complete otherwise complex workflows in an easy-to-use and intuitive fashion.
- Plan and conduct user studies to identify usability improvements
- Participate in industry and customer research to help define our product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Work closely with the all the teams to create an industry leading product
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done:
- You must live within the State of Colorado and within occasional commuting distance to our office in Boulder (required!)
- 1+ years professional experience being a UX/UI Designer or similar
- Solid understanding of interaction design principles
- Experience with user research methodologies
- Experience prototyping digital products (using Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD)
- Must be an exceptional team player, have top-notch communication skills, and have strong abilities in understanding and solving problems
- Some experience using Jira and Zeplin (or similar) to clearly communicate design requirements helpful in this role
- Experience in cross-platform design helpful
- Experience in building flowcharts using Lucidchart (or similar) to clearly illustrate workflows helpful

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and skills.
Our interview process includes a technical test, followed by a quick call with an HR representative, a Zoom Interview with some key people, and then an in-office interview with the team (socially distanced, of course).
Because our team members are occasionally trusted to handle sensitive information, we require candidates that receive and accept employment offers to complete a Background Check & Drug Test before employment starts (does not include THC).
