Nymbl is a mission-driven, high-performing and high-growth startup that is revolutionizing a $60BN industry and saving lives at scale. We are seeking a curious, driven and proven UX Researcher to evolve our design thinking process, surface critical insights about the people we serve and their use of our product, and ensure we are solving important problems with solutions that are valuable and usable.
In this role, you will have the support of a CEO and Product team who are 100% bought into a design- and user-driven approach to what we build. We believe that 80% of great ideas won’t work, and the ones that do take iteration with users to get it right. If you’re a student of Marty Cagan, Jakob Neilsen and Don Norman, and want to find a team where your talent and expertise will be valued and make a difference, where your work will directly lead to lives being transformed and saved, please consider us!
WHO WE ARE
Our mission is to mobilize older adults to solve the health problems that constrain their lives.
We provide a scalable digital program that prevents 35% of fall-related injuries, and that older adults love to use.
- Falls are the #1 cause of preventable death for people age 65+
- The last 20 years of fall prevention has been focused on mitigating provider and caretaker liability, constraining lives and ultimately increasing falls through a downward spiral of deconditioning and fear
- Nymbl is a champion for older adults, recognizing and respecting the motivation, ability and technical capacity for them to be a consumer of their own health care, break the negative cycle and regain and maintain their balance and confidence
- Nymbl Balance Training is a revolutionary program invented by a spine surgeon in a clinical setting, built and delivered at scale in the home through a mobile app that trains both the cognitive and physical elements of balance
- Our in-home app experience is proven to eliminate 35%+ of fall related injury at scale when used at a population level. This was proven in a third party actuarial study, the largest fall prevention study ever executed outside a clinical setting
- Nymbl is a well-funded Series-A looking ahead to our next stage of rapid growth
