Our engineering team is looking for a UI and Visual Designer who has skills in product, interaction and visual design. An understanding of user experience design is also desired. In this role, you will partner with our UX team to create designs for our product, web and email offerings. We don't believe in wizards, ninjas, or unicorns, but we place value on collaborative, iterative design and implementation that adds value to both business and user goals.
Based on product requirements and UX wireframes, you'll work with internal and external stakeholders to develop creative designs for our products. You'll need a solid understanding of the things which are important to our company, customers, and end users, and apply that knowledge to the designs around our features.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong product, interaction and visual design skills
- Background in UX Design - you don’t have to be an expert, but understanding and exposure to the field is required
- Ability to work with product, UX and technical teams to create compelling designs that meet client and company objectives
- A user-centered approach regardless of the design medium
- Strong eye for detail in all aspects of your UI and Visual design
- Ability to interface with clients when needed
- Experience building, designing and maintaining design frameworks
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment while partnering with software engineers
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
