At Healthgrades, we are focused on providing trusted information that allows consumers to receive more transparency around their healthcare. As a Senior UX Design Engineer, you will be a key contributor in building a consistent design system for the Healthgrades.com website, which generates close to a million visits a day.

In your role, you will work with your creative design team, as well as, product and engineering leaders to design and build client-side logic for Healthgrades.com. Your focus will be on bridging the gap between the visual elements and user experiences while keeping the customer at the center of everything you do. In a nutshell, you will build a design system at scale for a high traffic website using modern technologies all while surrounded by awesome people. Join us as we change the game!
 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cohesive creative concepts and design strategies for Healthgrades.com and other digital products
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use while ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Create and present wireframes, mock-ups, process flows, information architecture, site maps, and prototypes
• Partner with creative staff and other stakeholders to produce design artifacts including user requirement specifications, personas, storyboards, high-fidelity comps, and design prototypes and specifications
• Participate in project meetings by providing project updates and documenting all changes, edits, and approvals

Requirements:

• Strong experience in user experience, user interface, and visual design including usability testing, system design and prototyping
• Experience developing and supporting consumer facing web applications using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Strong knowledge and comfortability with Adobe Creative Suite
• Comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Portfolio or Project Examples
