Job Description
We are looking forward to meeting our next teammate: Lead UI/UX Product Designer. Embedded within our product group, the Lead UI/UX Product Designer will partner with product management and engineering colleagues to design products and features that continue to exceed market expectations for our customer base.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with product management to identify and ideate on product design solutions and translate them into wireframes and prototypes.
- Partner with engineering to evaluate designs and ensure that solutions are technically feasible, making modifications where necessary
- Create highly functional, beautiful, and user-centered interfaces
- Assist in solidifying brand guidelines and the creation of UI component libraries that will be used across multiple web / mobile applications.
You:
- 3+ years of professional design experience, ideally with relevant experience in UI-focused interaction design (a software product, SaaS, mobile app, etc..)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to create highly functional, beautiful, and user-centered interfaces
- High level experience with design software such as Adobe CC or Sketch
- Knowledge of prototyping software such as InVision
- Ability to translate wireframes and low resolution mockups to production-ready designs
- Experience designing UI for web (responsive) and mobile applications
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and a desire to understand what motivates and challenges users
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
- Desire to learn, create, and grow professionally
- Highly organized & collaborative
- Working knowledge of HTML / CSS
Bonus
- Experience designing for enterprise-level SaaS
- Experience developing UI component libraries
- Experience with designing for print and market collateral
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript / Angular 2+
