As a Data Visualization Designer, you will join a team of talented and creative Designers and partner closely with development teams to ensure extraordinary experiences for our consumers. You will assist with the design, iteration and delivery of data based features that facilitates effective user experiences for the company's digital and print products and services. Responsibilities:
- Lead design efforts to integrate data visualizations within our products and help define UI/UX experiences for which our consumers and clients interact with the data to drive insights
- Participate and thrive in project ideation with other designers and product owners
- Produce design artifacts including user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, design prototypes, and design specifications
- Participate as a contributor in an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, project managers, business and brand strategists, and software developers
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- A keen understanding of data and user behavior as it relates to design
- Self-motivation, excellent communication, an open mind and the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams
- In depth knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web-based applications and consumer electronics.
- Experience with user-centered research, such as usability testing, contextual inquiry, and field interviews
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic
- Experience: Design or related discipline is a plus
- Certifications: At least three years of UX, user interface and visual design experience
- Digital Portfolio Examples REQUIRED
