Role Purpose
Bluprint is looking for a Creative Developer to develop and code our email marketing campaigns and beyond. We’re looking for someone to act as an expert resource for our Design and Marketing teams and collaboratively establish best practices as well as execute on all individual developing requests. This includes supporting the marketing team with bugs/issues, and helping the org understand what is possible in the email medium.
They will also liaise with the UX/Product team in collaboration with the UI Art Director to ensure there is consistency across the user’s experience of the brand, including when engaging with email.
Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced HTML and CSS coding abilities for a clean and widely compatible work product
  • Understand email best practices that lend a hand to both design and performance marketing
  • Build and troubleshoot email templates
  • Effectively work within a larger multi-team project plan and communicate any issues and solutions to stakeholders
  • Work effectively with website creation tools such as wordpress, leadpages, brightspot etc.
  • Manage multiple projects in a detailed and timely manner.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of relevant design experience
Proficient in web markup with HTML5 or CSS3

• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice as needed
• Must be willing to work in Denver, CO
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• A positive, can-do attitude, along with a willingness to teach/guide creative team members in their own career growth.
• Experience with pre-processing IE SASS or LESS
• Understanding of JavaScript and Javascript frameworks including JQuery
• Ability to learn and apply new technical concepts
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels
• A portfolio showcasing strong layout and functionality on email campaigns and other digital collateral.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to multitask in a fun, fast-paced environment.
• Great written, verbal, and people skills.
• An affinity for media, craft, and personal hobbies/projects.
• A wholehearted openness to give and receive feedback and direction.
• Demonstrated ability to to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously, working on both strategy and tactics
• Fluency in brand standards, design best practices, and a great eye for consistency a major plus
