As an Associate UX Researcher, you will be key in helping deliver positive user experiences for millions of patients visiting Healthgrades.com every year.


In your role, you will work with your creative design team, as well as, product teams to identify research topics and design studies that focus on user behavior and attitudes. As someone that is passionate about understanding the core needs of your consumer, you will enjoy our data driven approach to product development. Responsibilities:

  • Independently facilitate product and user research planning, preparation, execution and documentation
  • Design and manage qualitative studies including focus groups, card sorting, contextual inquiry, usability studies and co-discovery
  • Create and review research reports/presentations for product teams and stakeholders to help prioritize and align overall business strategy
  • Actively participate in evolving UX team strategy and promotion of user centered design principles

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years conducting user research for software/web based products
  • Fundamental knowledge of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience Design
  • Experience with a variety of quantitative and qualitative user research activities; including ethnographic field studies, survey development, persona development, experience with service mapping, concept validation, usability studies, eye-tracking, eye sorting and other user centered design methodologies
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis
  • Interaction design and prototyping experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing responsibilities for multiple projects simultaneously
