Analytics plays an integral role at Paladina Health to support healthcare delivery and business operations by providing relevant, timely, and actionable insights to care teams and teammates – helping them make better, more informed decisions. This is accomplished by applying advanced analytic techniques to large integrated datasets and rendering the outputs to users through a data visualization tool. 

To support the analytics platform, and further enhance capabilities, we are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the team. This individual will join a fast-paced, innovative group, working directly with the Manager of Analytics. They will have two primary responsibilities:

  • Use advance analytics including predictive modeling, statistical techniques (matched control, regression analyses, etc) to evaluate program impact and integrate machine learning to existing datasets to help identify actionable insights
  • Help maintain and support our data warehouse including the setup and integration of new inbound and outbound data feeds

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Create advanced analytical models that help demonstrate our program value (cost savings, health outcomes, and satisfaction) to our clients
  • Analyze and interpret large amounts of data from a variety of sources to gain actionable insights that support key business objectives recommendations
  • Play a senior role in professional work engagements, demonstrating proficiency in predictive analytics and data modeling
  • Develop new analytical models, methods, tools, and solutions in response to business needs
  • Work with all levels of business users to understand their business requirements and translates those business needs into analytical models
  • Present analytics findings to senior management and clients to support decision making

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience with statistics, actuarial science, applied mathematics, financial econometrics, or other relevant field
  • Experience with the healthcare delivery system, health insurance industry, and healthcare claims data is required
  • High proficiency in statistical SAS programming including SAS SQL and predictive modeling using SAS Enterprise Guide
  • Experience with, and an understanding of, data warehouse structures, data extraction tools, analytics software and methods, and data modeling
