The Opportunity

The Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is primarily responsible for understanding stakeholder needs and diving deep into the root cause or underlying issues the business is trying to address. BSAs are accountable for understanding and documenting requirements in alignment with Salesforce best practices. BSAs work closely with the Salesforce Product Manager as well as the Salesforce development and administration teams to ensure that solutions meet our use cases and acceptance criteria. BSAs are supporting the life cycle of the solution implementations.

NOTE: This position will require you to come into the office 2x/week. Location: 5050 S. Syracuse Street (DTC)

What You’ll Do

  • Analysis
    • Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems, models, requirements, and needs
    • Identifying current pain points with current systems and processes
    • Uncovering gaps in best practices
    • Defining requirements and converting them into workable user stories
    • Preparing key documentation such as user stories, business processes, process flow analysis, requirements definitions, data models, detailed functional designs, ERDs, executive summaries, and project postmortems
    • Participating in pre-project engagements with the Business Applications team, business stakeholders, and vendors to ascertain business requirements, then recommending best practice solutions based on business needs
  • Project Management
    • Effectively facilitating and managing business stakeholder-related meetings and workshops driving toward stakeholder satisfaction and success
    • Analyzing/identifying areas of risk, collaborating on solutions, and developing plans to minimize risk and communicate to stakeholders
    • Working closely with the Technical Leads to ensure the business requirements are accurately translated into technical requirements, and the team has all the information required for action
  • Delivery
    • Performing Salesforce admin/UAT/config/data migration/integration/training as needed
    • Support business stakeholders throughout the project and post-project implementation process

The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in software
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation of Salesforce CRM itself as well as with different systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong belief in documentation
  • Ability to use the Google suite as well as other project management tools to manage work
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Business, etc.) preferred


For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $85,000.00 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
