Role Purpose
Craftsy’s Consumer Insights team has the exciting and challenging goal of enhancing initiatives across the company through smart, timely, and actionable insights straight from our consumers. Craftsy is seeking a highly effective leader to ensure delivery of actionable insights and build the team’s influence and visibility within our organization. S/he will translate ambiguous questions into structured research plans yielding high-quality results and build trust with a variety of cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities

• Craft a research roadmap that consistently pushes our consumer understanding forward, prioritizing impactful research and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders
• Develop, manage, facilitate, and report results of consumer research supporting the business in all areas of the business: from usability testing to foundational consumer research to product and content development
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to build compelling, evidence-based stories that cross-functional teams can easily understand and leverage directly in their own work
• Actively engage with cross-functional partners to activate insights through coaching and influence
• Manage and develop one or more direct reports to maximize the team’s business impact
• Build the capacity/capability of our team to provide increasingly more effective research

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years in a consumer insights role
• Experience conducting research directly, including consumer interviews and fielding surveys (writing, programming, & analyzing)
