Essential Functions:
Development using any or all of the following Microsoft Business Intelligence products/tools:
- SQL Server Database and T-SQL
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- SQL Server Integration Services
- SQL Server Analysis Services (MDX and/or DAX a plus)
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Technical:
- 5+ years SQL Server 2008/2012 experience
- Proficient in Database Design
- Proficient in T-SQL/SQL
- Proficient in any or all of Microsoft BI Tools (SSIS, SSRS; SSAS/MDX)
- Data Analysis a must; Modeling a plus
General:
- Experience with requirements analysis, solution design,
data/quality management - Fundamental knowledge and ability to understand
technology, information systems, data, and business processes - Strong communication (oral and written) and
interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues and clients - Ability to develop productive business relationships
with internal team members through cooperation, courtesy, and
professionalism - Ability to play an integral part in project delivery
given tight constraints and uncompromising quality - Motivated to identify and develop solutions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Consulting/professional services experience a plus
Education, Training and Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
- Training and certifications will be considered
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
- PC usage up to 100% of the time
- Ability to travel to client sites through Denver-metro
area - Ability to travel outside of Denver
- Overtime and weekend hours may be required
