As a Data Entry Assistant at FoodMaven, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining information related to product and the inventory systems. You will play a key role in communicating with warehouse staff to coordinate and research missing product data to ensure an accurate, smooth-running intake and inventory management process. To accomplish this, the Data Assistant will be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, analytical, and data-savvy with strong communication skills. The Data Assistant must be passionate about learning and stewarding the success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Update the inventory system and enter intake data.
- Generate basic reports related to inventory systems, pricing updates, and intake levels.
- Manage product placement, specifications, and product appearance in the marketplace.
- Respond to messaging from members of management regarding product details.
- Communicate with warehouse staff on specific product attributes or information.
- Interpret inventory information in a timely manner and translate to the marketplace.
Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of and comfort with Information systems.
- Desire to learn a database system and confidence to perform job functions with said system.
- Ability to organize large amounts of wide-ranging information.
- Detail-oriented in dealing with large amounts of data.
- Thrives in a high-paced learning environment.
- Natural problem-solver.
- Team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator.
