WHO YOU ARE...


As the Capital Markets Analyst, you will be building reporting and analytics for the department to assist executive leadership with decision-making. Manage daily procedures for pricing generation, mortgage rate locks, data tape delivery management from correspondent clients and to investors, and other financial reporting responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

  • Prepare various reports for Head Trader of Maxwell Capital Partners on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis 
  • Work with senior traders to actively monitor purchases and sales of residential mortgage loans.
  • Work with internal counterparties to provide asset management.
  • Develop and maintain models and reports to enhance risk management and valuation decisions
  • Facilitate the flow of accurate and timely loan and trade data between internal databases, market data sources, and pipeline management systems
  • Learn processes and systems associated with pipeline management
  • Provide companywide ad-hoc reporting related to capital markets
  • Utilize market knowledge to prepare various reports for transactions in process and historically 
  • Work with team members to oversee product pricing, and margin management and assist with the transfer and delivery of loans bought and sold on the secondary mortgage market

IDEALLY YOU'LL HAVE...

  • Some analyst experience within the mortgage industry preferred, but not required
  • Coding experience preferred, not required (t-SQL, Python, JSON)
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) 
  • Intuitive mathematical mindset and desire to expand their knowledge in Capital Markets
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn new technology

Compensation Range: $55,000-$65,000
