We’re looking for an experienced and capable candidate with strong business analysis experience who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment. The candidate should have prior experience with data specifications and working with complex data sets. Our growing development team is looking for folks eager to take on the challenge of efficiently and effectively managing data specific business logic for business applications.

Responsibilities: 

• Transform business requirement into functional / technical data specifications
• Produce detailed business and functional requirement specifications from existing systems, previous drafts, and client interactions
• Facilitate sign-off of requirements across the stakeholder group
• Assess the impact of change in requirements to the technology systems and infrastructure
• Facilitate project scope definition including problem definition, business goals and success criteria - document & sign-off
• Run ad hoc SQL queries to evaluate and test data sources for XML and CSV
• Tier 3 support for vendor data issues reported through client and vendor channels
• Become SME for financial data
• Perform data validation across complex business applications

Required Skills:

• A university degree or relevant professional experience 
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with third party data providers, understand specification documents and communicate requirements to development team.
• Utilize SQL skills and demonstrated understanding of relational databases.
• Ability to use moderate/advanced Excel skills
• Demonstrated understanding of financial markets and market data a plus
• Proven verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively to customers, managers and technical staff
