The Associate Demand Analyst is responsible for supporting tasking, ordering and tracking our internal demand. Aggregating our demand into a regional focus model that maximizes our constellations efficiency. The Assoc. Demand Analyst will also be responsible for monitoring production delivery components, managing the operation of the Digital Globe Delivery Manager, evolving data management including a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure within AWS and other electronic delivery technologies. Identifies data required for product generation to include commercial imagery source, ground control, elevation data and other sources. Provides interdepartmental interfaces between operations, customer service, sales and marketing for production status and order processing while managing and collaborating our demand. The Associate Demand Analyst utilizes a combination of proprietary and commercial-off-the-shelf software suites to perform work required.

Responsibilities    

  • Monitor and understand Operations production components

  • Manage Tasking, Ordering & Delivery components
  • Aggregate demand within focused region
  • Development and maintenance of GIS systems related to inventory management and project status
  • Consistent coordination with Satellite Collection Planner and Production teams
  • Evaluation and selection of source material required for imagery based projects
  • Perform imagery quality assessment on proprietary software
  • Will be required to support Demand Analyst on feasibility assessments and troubleshooting responsibilities that require basic SQL, Python, Unix/Linux knowledge
  • Data Management responsibilities working within AWS
  • Development and maintenance of GIS systems related to inventory management and project status
  • Performance monitoring and metric creation
  • Performs basic order entry processes in support of product fulfillment
  • Other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in geography, GIS, or any other related technical discipline is desired.  2 plus years of relevant experience will be considered in place of education
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite products
  • High level of knowledge working in Excel
  • Must be able to work a rotating on-call schedule (nights & weekends)
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required
  • Must be able to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational ability, detail-oriented and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Must be a team player with a “can-do” attitude, and a solutions-oriented critical thinker
