This exciting opportunity allows you to join the expanding Data Science Department with goals of enhancing Healthgrades capabilities and opportunities.
 
The Data Analyst position is ideal for a self-motivated individual that is passionate about data and has 1-3 years of experience with tag analyzing, reporting and interpreting complex data.  If this sounds like you, then we'd love to have you join the Healthgrades Team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong SQL experience including knowledge of data relationships & structures
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to review complex data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
• Understanding of large scale relational databases
• Some experience with MS SQL and SSRS, including the ability to build stored procedures, views and scheduled processes
• Previous experience with healthcare clinical outcomes data

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis and communicate findings and insights to business unit leaders and/or clients on healthcare clinical outcomes
• Develop and deploy interactive reports for internal stakeholders utilizing SSRS
• Identify issues related to data, data sources, and processing; as well as, optimizing queries for performance
• Operationalize data table maintenance for common data extraction requests
• Document methodologies, variations and quality assurance processes
• Assist in the development of recommendations, communications and process improvements
