Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst, you are independent, self-motivated, well-organized, and an excellent analytic problem solver. You are collaborative and eager to work in a team environment; therefore, as an integral member of our team you will deliver exceptional analytical output to support key product offerings. This exciting opportunity allows you to join the expanding Data Science Department with goals of enhancing Healthgrades capabilities and opportunities.
The Data Analyst position is ideal for a self-motivated individual that is passionate about data and has 1-3 years of experience with tag analyzing, reporting and interpreting complex data. If this sounds like you, then we'd love to have you join the Healthgrades Team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong SQL experience including knowledge of data relationships & structures
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to review complex data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Understanding of large scale relational databases
- Some experience with MS SQL and SSRS, including the ability to build stored procedures, views and scheduled processes
- Previous experience with healthcare clinical outcomes data
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis and communicate findings and insights to business unit leaders and/or clients on healthcare clinical outcomes
- Develop and deploy interactive reports for internal stakeholders utilizing SSRS
- Identify issues related to data, data sources, and processing; as well as, optimizing queries for performance
- Operationalize data table maintenance for common data extraction requests
- Document methodologies, variations and quality assurance processes
- Assist in the development of recommendations, communications and process improvements
