Voice Operations Engineer
We are looking for a client-focused Voice Operations Engineer who is sharp, curious, and solution-focused with a high standard of support.
Members of our team collaborate directly with experienced software engineers and industry experts and are given the unique opportunity to play both an operational and development role.
If selected, you will leverage your skills towards the functionality and support of telecommunications, L2/L3 networking, SIP, VoIP, networks, as well as contact center technologies for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Communicate to members of our Support and Customer Success teams through a ticket system.
- Research, identify and effectively solve reported trouble.
- Monitor and communicate alerts received from equipment.
- Provide creative solutions to solve common problems.
- Learn, develop and support new up and coming technologies
Qualifications
- Networking: Experience in a network operations center, or equivalent industry experience. 2-3 years a plus.
- Certifications: Current certifications (NET+, CCENT, CCNA, RHCE) are a plus
- Communications Platforms: Experience with VoIP platforms including Sonus, FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, or Cisco Unified Communication Manager or Contact Center Express
- Technical and Troubleshooting Skills: Understanding of troubleshooting methodology and process to discover root-cause issues
