IT Systems Manager

As an IT Systems Manager at VORTO you will lead the technical onboarding of teammates, enable friction-free technology for collaboration, manage software tooling spend, and streamline access while maintaining security and auditability.
About the Role
Every member of the VORTO team is laser-focused on innovating on behalf of our customers. This position is highly entrepreneurial in nature, hence it requires candidates who can develop a full picture of the business problem to ship end-to-end solutions.
Ultimately, a successful candidate for this role is motivated by empowering the team around them to move fast and efficiently while mitigating security risks. Attention to detail is critical, along with an awareness that small inconveniences can scale into huge issues when multiplied across 100+ people.
This position is 100% onsite, in our downtown Denver office.
Specifically, you will:
- Support the setup of tech related equipment in partnership with the hiring manager of newly hired teammates
- Initiate system access for new teammates in systems such as: email, Slack, Vorto native apps, Salesforce, MS 365, Figma, and any other related software based on group assignments
- Ensure strong opsec and data governance practices
- Manage SOC audits and evidence collection processes
- Setup and manage technology for video conferencing, meeting room reservation, across multiple office locations in the US
- Manage and maintain software expenses
- Establish technical support ticketing systems and rapid response processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as an IT Specialist for a tech company, or similar role
- Working knowledge of SOC 2 Type 2 compliance/policies
- Hands-on experience installing software, patches, updates on computers and peripherals.
- Experience with security & vulnerability scanning tools like Sophos, ThreatStack, etc. a plus
- Google Suite, GCP, and Azure administration experience, including IAM management
- Prior experience working in an early stage startup preferred
- A jack-of-all-trades and willingness to dive in head-first to unusual technology problems
