Inboxlab is looking to hire a Trivia Content Manager to join our growing team.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Inboxlab is an incubator that builds companies revolving around email. Founded in 2017 by serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Nicholas Pardon, Inboxlab seeks to create value in new and existing companies by leveraging our core competencies around data, marketing, branding, and most importantly, the inbox.

Inboxlab presently focuses in two primary verticals: travel and gaming. Our mission-based flagship travel brand, The Discoverer, reaches 2,500,000+ subscribers with its weekly editions and the Inbox Games network currently serves 35,000,000+ game plays per month.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Inboxlab’s Trivia Content Manager works to manage both internal and external resources for our trivia brand’s content creation. This role ensures that all content (both visual and written) that we put in front of our audience is factual, ideal for the trivia brand, and translates to increased user engagement.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Manage organizational operations for trivia content creation, including relationship management with freelancers.

  • Review and edit the written and visual content across trivia brands.

  • Curate images for web and email placements.

  • Ensure that ideal imagery and voice is implemented across trivia brands.

  • A/B test written and visual content to optimize monetization efforts.

  • Develop and integrate a cohesive content marketing strategy.

  • Set measurable goals and identify the appropriate success metrics.

  • Research, develop and implement strategies to drive more engagement on content across all trivia brands.

  • Track metrics and report on analytics regarding brand engagement.

  • Implement SEO content strategies to help drive organic traffic.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in writing, communications, marketing, business administration, or other related fields.

  • 5+ years experience publishing content.

  • 2+ years experience managing an editorial team and/or freelancers.

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient knowledge of email marketing.

  • Intermediate design knowledge and familiarity with Photoshop.

  • Advanced understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.

  • Keen awareness for what makes content viral (images for social, article titles, etc...)

  • Experience with Wordpress and Ghost.

  • Ability to tackle assignments with acute attention to detail and the ability to avoid any errors or typos.

  • Ability to stay extremely organized and tackle multiple tasks at a time.
