Arryved Inc. is a Boulder-based company specializing in Point-of-Service for craft breweries, restaurants and other craft destinations. We operate in hundreds of establishments across the country, with many of the top craft establishments using our platform.  Maybe you've used the Arryved mobile app yourself.  At our core we use software to build excellent customer experiences on both sides of the counter, from being the central hub of the restaurant/taproom and back-of-house, to online sales and mobile guest experiences. About You

We are looking for someone passionate about writing and maintaining clear and concise documentation to support our portfolio of merchant, guest and employee facing products.  We are looking to hire a Technical Writer. This position will be based in Boulder, CO reporting to the Head of Product.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience writing, editing, researching, and planning software documentation.

• Experience with minimalist and just in time documentation.

• Experience with UX writing, focusing on communication with users and the user experience.

• Experience managing a SaaS Knowledge Base. 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Write & maintain internal and external knowledge base articles & technical manuals for audiences with mixed levels of experience.

• Applying best practices related to UX technical writing, ensuring documentation is easy to understand, is easy to follow

• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering and other SMEs to understand and document existing product features & new product changes.

• Create or work with Marketing to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.

• Partner with Marketing to establish and maintain brand and style guidelines within the Knowledge Base.

• Collaborate with the Learning department to develop learning content.

• Collect user feedback to identify ways to improve usability within the Arryved Knowledge Base.

• Be an advocate for and voice of the user to ensure users' goals are met.

Nice to Haves:

• Basic knowledge of graphic design, formatting, illustration, or other design principles.

• Proficiency in Google product suite.

• Experience in a similar role at a SaaS tech company.

• Headquarters in Boulder, CO. 

• COVID-19: Arryved is currently working on a rotating in office and remote schedule, by teams. We do expect the Boulder office to re-open at full capacity sometime in 2021.

  • You will be expected to participate in virtual team meetings daily and occasionally in person during this time period.

• Salary is FTE $64,000-90,000 DOE
