Inboxlab is looking to hire a Director of Content Strategy to join our growing team.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Inboxlab is an incubator that builds companies revolving around email. Founded in 2017 by serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Nicholas Pardon, Inboxlab seeks to create value in new and existing companies by leveraging our core competencies around data, marketing, branding, and most importantly, the inbox.

Inboxlab presently focuses in two primary verticals: travel and gaming. Our mission-based flagship travel brand, The Discoverer, reaches 2,500,000+ subscribers with its weekly editions and the Inbox Games network currently serves 40,000,000+ game plays per month.


ABOUT THE ROLE

Inboxlab’s Content Strategist will work with the Content Managers and editorial team to drive growth and engagement on web, email, and social media initiatives. This role ensures that all content (both visual and written) translates to an increase in user engagement and revenue across brands.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead content strategies for multiple brands simultaneously

  • Optimize workflows with internal/external resources to best execute content strategies

  • Manage growth strategy and processes for content creation across social media accounts

  • Implement SEO practices and strategies to drive organic traffic across brands

  • Create and manage guidelines for style, consistency, and grammar

  • Implement processes that ensure high quality and accurate content across brands

  • Act as a resource to the editorial team by disseminating best practices

  • Work with the Content Manager to ensure proper information is communicated to freelancers to execute content marketing strategy

  • Conduct research and identify content management opportunities

  • Optimize engagement across brands via A/B tests with visual and written content

  • Review and edit various content as a quality control for concurrent projects

  • Assist team in organizing editorial schedules and mapping for sources of content

  • Strategize and implement methods to grow brands via content marketing initiatives

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING

  • 10+ years of content management and visual communications experience

  • 15+ years of content writing in a production-like format for a variety of target audiences

  • Exemplary written communication skills

  • Ability to manage the production of a high volume of content

  • Ability to contribute to technical discussions from a content perspective

  • Willingness to be called upon to perform short assignments on demand

  • Experience estimating scope of copywriting work

  • Ability to identify when there are gaps, errors, or inconsistencies in documentation

  • Understanding of how to prioritize and work across multiple projects

  • Ability to perform final, accurate revision to production documents

  • Expertise with social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in an atmosphere of rapid development
