The Content Writer plays an integral part in the Convercent customer experience. This role contributes to our customers’ success by transforming our knowledgebase into a go-to source for both our customers and internal teams. This individual will strive to understand how the Convercent product works in order to write help articles that our customers can easily follow and understand.

In addition, this individual will help organize, prioritize, and strategize on how to best provide content for our customers. The overall focus for this position is to support easy to use and understandable self-service enablement for our customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain expertise in Convercent application functionality, as it relates to what the customer can do within the tool independently
  • Produce written and video content for our customers for use in the knowledgebase, customer community, and other tech touch channels
  • Focus on areas where customers can more easily and effectively self-serve key activities during on-boarding, adoption, and beyond
  • Create content that is easy to comprehend by end users who are typically non-technical
  • Organize knowledgebase content making it easy for customers to find
  • Maintain a content backlog, and report on what content needs to be updated, created, augmented, etc.
  • Partner with customer success and product teams to ensure knowledgebase articles stay up to date
  • Create material that not only informs customers, but engages them

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passion for writing content
  • Familiarity with knowledgebase tools (Salesforce, Vanilla Forums, etc.)
  • Familiarity with video capturing tools
  • Passion for customer work
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn proactively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for learning and a willingness for taking on new challenges
  • An understanding of the Ethics & Compliance industry is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary and variable compensation ranges provided here are just that—a range! The offer that is ultimately extended is based on level of experience, skillset, certifications and education. 

  • Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 base salary 
  • This position includes unlimited time off, comprehensive benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), monthly tech stipend, and company-paid sabbatical at five years of service.
